AHT Editor, Robyn Lee spotted this CNN screenshot on Twitter. It raises so many questions:
A. When was pizza banned in North Korea?
B. How do you regulate that? Were people hiding out under the cover of night rolling out dough? Were there secret underground pizza lover meetings a la the club in that book The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society?
C. Why would they ban pizza since it originated in Korea*?
What I did find out is that supreme Leader Kim Jong Un wants to be seen as more fun-loving and is very youth focused. So, the lift of the ban is related to that. Pizza prevails!
* JK, I just wanted to link to that again.
