VIEW SLIDESHOW: My Pie Monday: Haggis, BBQ Pizza, Veal Sausage, and More!
We've got another great group of homemade pizzas coming at you this My Pie Monday! A big welcome to twleslie who sends in a grilled pizza and gmbcinphoto of Scotland who breaks new MPM ground with a haggis topped pizza! KTC adds a slower cooker pulled bbq topped pizza to the mix, and JEL sends a low temp wood-fired pie with homemade veal fennel pollen sausage. (Sounds like we need a column just for My Pie Monday topping recipes.) Experimenting with a Jersey Shore Mack's style pizza, we have none other than Norma427. F r y has a style that may be all his own, but wonders how other Slice'rs might classify his pan pizza. A goat cheese with exotic spices and some aleppo pepper season the pie from amusebouche1, and Imwalkin sends in a household favorite, the RosaAleppo. TXCraig1 continues to tweak his hot soppressata pie and bierbeer includes a prosciutto topped white pie.
It's easy to get your pie included in next week's slideshow. Just take one picutre of a pie you made recently, describe your cooking method (in 80 words or less), and follow these instructions to get it to us by 8pm (EST) Thursday. Be sure to let us know your Slice screen name.
